About BrokerBytes

BrokerBytes is operated by WCT West Coast Training Ltd. and provides online continuing education courses, training resources and related services.

By accessing the BrokerBytes website, purchasing a course or plan, creating an account or using the BrokerBytes learning platform, you agree to these Terms of Use.

Account Registration

You may be required to create an account to access BrokerBytes courses and services.

You are responsible for providing accurate account information and maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

You are responsible for activity conducted through your account and should notify BrokerBytes if you believe your account has been accessed or used without authorization.

Course Access

Course access is provided to the individual or organization associated with the purchase.

Individual user accounts are intended for use only by the registered user and may not be shared with another person.

Access to courses, materials, certificates and other BrokerBytes content is subject to the terms of the plan or product purchased.

BrokerBytes may suspend or terminate access where there is evidence of account sharing, unauthorized use, fraud, misuse of the platform or violation of these Terms of Use.

Multi Seat and Team Purchases

Certain BrokerBytes plans may allow an organization or purchaser to purchase multiple course seats.

The purchaser or designated seat manager may assign available seats to eligible users.

Each assigned user must maintain their own individual BrokerBytes account. Seats and account credentials may not be shared between users.

The purchaser is responsible for ensuring that users associated with their account comply with these Terms of Use.

Continuing Education

BrokerBytes courses may qualify for continuing education credit with applicable regulatory, licensing or accreditation organizations.

It is the learner's responsibility to ensure that a particular course satisfies their individual licensing or continuing education requirements.

Accreditation requirements, course eligibility and regulatory rules may change from time to time.

BrokerBytes will make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information regarding continuing education eligibility but does not guarantee that a course will satisfy every individual's licensing or regulatory requirements.

Course Completion and Certificates

Users must complete any required course material, assessments or other requirements before a course is considered complete.

Where applicable, certificates of completion may be issued after the required course conditions have been satisfied.

Users are responsible for ensuring that their name and account information are accurate before certificates or completion records are issued.

BrokerBytes may maintain course enrollment, participation and completion records where necessary for administrative, accreditation or regulatory purposes.

Pricing and Payment

Prices are displayed at the time of purchase and may change from time to time.

Applicable taxes may be added to the purchase price.

Payment must be received or otherwise authorized before access to paid BrokerBytes products or services is provided unless alternative arrangements have been approved by WCT West Coast Training Ltd.

Purchases may be processed through third party payment providers.

Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your BrokerBytes purchase.

You may request a full refund within 30 days of the original purchase date provided that no course included with the purchase has been completed.

Once a course has been completed, the purchase is no longer eligible for a refund.

For multi seat or team purchases, a refund may be requested within 30 days provided that no user associated with the purchase has completed a course.

Once any user associated with a multi seat or team purchase has completed a course, the purchase becomes non refundable.

Refund requests made more than 30 days after the original purchase date are not eligible for a refund.

Duplicate purchases, billing errors or exceptional circumstances may be reviewed by WCT West Coast Training Ltd. on a case by case basis.

Approved refunds will be returned to the original method of payment where possible.

This refund policy does not limit any cancellation or refund rights that may apply under applicable consumer protection legislation.

Subscriptions and Renewals

Where BrokerBytes offers subscription based products, the applicable price, billing frequency and renewal terms will be disclosed at the time of purchase.

Users are responsible for cancelling any recurring subscription in accordance with the cancellation instructions provided through the applicable platform or payment provider.

Cancellation of a subscription prevents future renewals but does not automatically entitle the user to a refund for amounts already paid, except where provided under the BrokerBytes Refund Policy or required by law.

Intellectual Property

All BrokerBytes course content, videos, text, graphics, documents, downloads, trademarks, logos, website content and related materials are owned by or licensed to WCT West Coast Training Ltd. unless otherwise stated.

Course materials are provided for the personal or internal business use of the registered user.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, license, share, modify, record, upload, transmit or otherwise make BrokerBytes course content available to another person without prior written permission from WCT West Coast Training Ltd.

You may not use BrokerBytes content to create or provide competing courses, training programs, products or services.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Misuse BrokerBytes or interfere with operation of the platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account
• Attempt to access restricted systems, servers or data
• Share user accounts or course access with unauthorized individuals
• Use bots, scraping tools or automated systems to reproduce BrokerBytes content
• Upload or transmit malicious code
• Use BrokerBytes for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes

Third Party Services

BrokerBytes may rely on third party services for functions such as learning management, payment processing, website hosting, analytics, email delivery and other technical services.

Your use of certain third party services may also be subject to the terms and policies of those service providers.

BrokerBytes is not responsible for interruptions or failures caused by third party services that are outside our reasonable control.

Availability of Services

We will make reasonable efforts to keep BrokerBytes and its courses available.

Access may occasionally be interrupted because of maintenance, software updates, technical issues, third party outages or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may modify, replace, update or discontinue features, course materials or services where reasonably necessary.

Disclaimer

BrokerBytes course content is provided for educational purposes.

While reasonable efforts are made to ensure course information is accurate and current, laws, regulations, industry practices and licensing requirements may change.

Nothing provided through BrokerBytes should be considered legal, financial, regulatory or professional advice specific to your individual circumstances.

Users are responsible for confirming requirements applicable to their own licensing, employment, professional activities and jurisdiction.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WCT West Coast Training Ltd. and BrokerBytes will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or similar damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, BrokerBytes or its course content.

Nothing in these Terms of Use excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

Privacy

Your use of BrokerBytes is also subject to the BrokerBytes Privacy Policy.

Personal information collected through BrokerBytes will be handled in accordance with that Privacy Policy and applicable privacy legislation.

Termination

BrokerBytes may suspend or terminate an account where a user materially violates these Terms of Use, misuses the platform, shares account access, infringes intellectual property rights, engages in fraudulent activity or interferes with the operation or security of the service.

Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose before termination.

Changes to These Terms

WCT West Coast Training Ltd. may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices, technology or legal requirements.

The current version will be posted on this page with the date of the latest revision.

Continued use of BrokerBytes after updated Terms of Use take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws applicable in the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

Any dispute relating to these Terms of Use or BrokerBytes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
